December 10, 2011 - a total lunar eclipse. This is the second lunar eclipse this year (the first lunar eclipse was June 15). The maximum phase (the peak of the eclipse) - 18 hours 32 minutes.

November 25, 2011 - Private (partial) solar eclipse. This is the fourth in a row the solar eclipse this year. This is a fairly rare occurrence, as usually happens in the year two (sometimes three) solar eclipse.

2011 "rich" in eclipse. Usually a year is four in total eclipse (solar and lunar). There are years when the number comes to eclipse 5. And this year is expected to eclipse 6 (2 lunar and 4 solar).

On the night of 15 on June 16, 2011 total lunar eclipse will occur. This is a fairly rare phenomenon, the previous total eclipse of the moon was in July 2000

This is the second solar eclipse in 2011 (the first was January 4.) Strictly speaking, in Russia, this eclipse will not happen the 1st and 2nd of June, at the beginning of the day (at 00:17 Moscow time).
